    Key Responsibilities

     SALES

    • Give the highest standard of inspired customer service at all times and to act as a role model for Sales consultants
    • Greet and welcome each customer – smiling and acknowledging
    • Present oneself professionally and in line with the brand image and company grooming guidelines
    • Be perceptive of customers needs, listening and showing enthusiasm for the product and brand
    • Proactively develop the sale by selecting an appropriate range of options for the customer, providing good product knowledge, overcoming objections and offering appropriate additional items (link selling)
    • Ensure customer loyalty by concluding the sale, quickly and efficiently processing purchases at the till, capturing customer data to ensure future contact, ensuring aftercare promises are kept
    • Effectively deal with telephone orders and enquiries
    • Understand brand policy and deal with customer complaints accordingly
    • Be aware of promotional activities in the store and current advertising and marketing campaigns
    • Knowledgeable about competitor activity and to share information with the team
    • Consistently achieve individual sales targets and be aware of store sales targets
    • Build up and maintain a client book
    • Adhere to the visual merchandising guidelines
    • Replenish merchandise ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times
    • Participate in stocktaking as required and to ensure accurate counting of stock
    • Maintain stock:
    • Cleaning, dusting and tidying
    • Disposing of hangers, bags and boxes
    • Ensuring all items are correctly tagged and ticketed
    • Ensuring the stockroom is kept tidy
    • Collecting altered garments for customers and transferring garments to other stores
    • Displaying stock according to visual merchandising guidelines
    • Assisting with delivery of stock
    • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store
    • Understand and effectively follow all point of sale procedures eg Global Refund, VAT procedures, Customer Compliance, Till procedures (cash handling, credit authorisation, acceptance of cheques, exchanges) etc.
    • Understand and effectively use all stock management systems eg SAP / Navision
    • Effectively complete all paperwork related to stock movement or ordering
    • Assist department managers with relevant administration tasks e.g rota’s, holiday forms etc
    • Be aware of and to follow all company procedures in relation to loss prevention
    • Report all suspicious activity, cash or stock losses to the Loss prevention and store Management team
    • Follow the Company procedures on staff purchases
    • Understand and comply with Health and Safety procedures in the store

    • Participate in health and safety and loss prevention training as required
    • Notify management immediately of any health and safety issues / concerns
